Microsoft has released a new keyboard and mouse set for desktop PCs. The product was named Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000. It uses wireless technology, the latest in ergonomics, and the experience of previous Microsoft developments in this area. In particular, the keyboard from the Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000 set is the heir to the famous wired Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 (top picture), and the mouse is the Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000 (bottom picture).
The keyboard is designed in the shape of the so-called “gull wing” (Gull Wing), which is said to reduce stress on the hands and reduce the manifestation of carpal tunnel syndrome. The keyboard is equipped with a soft palm rest, has a reverse tilt of 7 ° and offers two options for ergonomic “breaking” of the halves of the keyboard field – at an angle of 12 ° and 14 °. In addition, the developers have provided for the availability of tools to increase productivity, such as shortcut keys, zoom slider and programmable hot keys. The presence of a two-color voltage indicator helps to replace power supplies in time.
Includes Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 7000. Identical in appearance and functionality to the recently released Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000, but with a wireless interface operating in a different frequency band (2.4 GHz). The shape of the manipulator, according to the manufacturer, corresponds to the optimal position of the hand as much as possible, providing comfort in work. Like the keyboard, the mouse has a two-color battery indicator.
The software that comes with the kit includes Instant Viewer, which allows you to quickly switch between applications, and Magnifier, which enlarges the area of the screen.
The Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000 set to go on sale in July is quoted by the manufacturer for the US market at $ 150.
