Jan 21,  · amBX vs. Windows Jan 21, @ am – [STS]LoB. Hey guys, since the official amBX forums and wiki is down, I’ll try here. Does anyone have amBX running on Windows 10? I have both a Philips set and MadCatz lights, and don’t get them to work with Windows I’m pretty sure I saw people having it running on the forums – but I updated to. Click on Have Disk and browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\ambx\hardware (for bit systems) or C:\Program Files\ambx\hardware (for bit systems), select windrv6 and click Open. WinDriver will appear in the list, highlight this and click Next. Click Next to confirm then Finish. Sep 15,  · I don’t want that to happen to the amBX and it does still work with Windows 10, so here are the driver sets that I was able to get my kit up and running with. Hopefully they’ll be useful. amBX Installer – MB. amBX Software (Zipped) – MB. amBX Installer – MB.

The first details about the new platform for servers and workstations Intel Tylersburg

Intel has revealed some details of the upcoming Tylersburg platform for servers and workstations based on Nehalem processors, according to the source. The Tylersburg platform will be available in three versions: EP for high-performance servers, EN for entry-level servers, and WS for workstations.

Information is still very limited, but it is known that Intel plans to have different variants of the same set of system logic for each version of the platform. Currently, Intel uses the names Tylersburg-36D, Tylersburg-36S and Tylersburg-24D to refer to them. Tylersburg-36D is a chipset for Tylersburg EP and WS based systems with two sockets. These systems, according to Intel, will have to replace the existing solutions Bensley (dual-processor servers based on Woodcrest) and Stoakley, respectively. Tylersburg-24D variant will be used in Tylersburg EN, an entry-level platform that will join Bensley VS and Cranberry Lake. The single-processor platform Garlow WS will be updated with the arrival of Nehalem and will be named Tylersburg WS. It is planned to use the Tylersburg-36S chipset here.

A feature of the Nehalem processors that will be installed in systems based on the Tylersburg platform is the transition from FSB to a new bus – QuickPath. This is the new name for the already well-known technology, formerly known as CSI (Common System Interconnect). The Nehalem architecture will include four cores capable of processing two threads at a time, which will allow up to sixteen threads to execute on systems with two processors.

Tylersburg and Nehalem will debut in the second half of next year.
