New iPod still arrives in August?

ThinkSecret website confirms Apple’s plans to unveil a new full-size iPod in the first half of August, citing confidential sources.

According to ThinkSecret, the new sixth generation iPod will not feature a touch-sensitive screen and a light version of the OS X operating system. But the new player model will receive a shorter body, retaining the same screen size and Click Wheel.

A few days ago, the MacRumors website posted a video showing the interface of the new iPod. Of course, before the release of new Apple products, the Internet is usually flooded with a lot of “fakes” – fakes, the authors of which are trying to predict the features of future devices (or deceive readers – whoever you like), but an indirect confirmation of the veracity of the video was the requirement of Apple’s legal service to MacRumors to remove the video from site. Later, a copy of this video was removed (also at the request of Apple) from the YouTube service library.

There is another copy of the video here, although you shouldn’t expect this link to work for a long time.
