In-Stat opinion: IEEE 1394 time is drawing to a close
The IEEE 1394 interface is under pressure from competitors, and its market share is entering a phase of stagnation, according to In-Stat analysts. Although the peak year for IEEE 1394-enabled devices should be 2021, the slow decline in market share will begin in early 2021. This is the forecast of a market research company.
