Cooler Master Sphere: An Unusual Look at Coolers
Cooler Master presented an unusual cooler for cooling processors. Its Sphere product has a completely unusual shape for such solutions, while coping with the cooling of all the latest CPUs and maintaining almost complete noiselessness.
At the Computex exhibition, the manufacturer demonstrated a very similar development, which then bore the name Mars, and in September, under a new name, the cooler is likely to reach retail chains.
The universal mount design makes it possible to use Sphere with both modern Intel and AMD processors, including the most powerful models. At the same time, according to Cooler Master, not only the CPU is cooled, but also the VRM, the north bridge of the chipset, elements of the motherboard, and even the graphics card.
Sphere is made entirely of copper and has four heatpipes.
The fan rotates at a speed of 2200 revolutions per minute, while the noise level does not exceed 22 dBa.
The cooler weighs 684 grams, the dimensions declared by the manufacturer are 132 x 113 mm.
