GSI Technology Announces 144Mbps NBT SRAM

GSI Technology Announces 144 Mbit Static Random Access Memory.

The novelty belongs to the NBT (No Bus Turnaround) SRAM family, a feature of which is the ability to perform double read and write operations without an intermediate waiting state. Typical applications of such memory are high-performance equipment for networks and communications. At the moment, 144 Mbit is the highest density in the industry, no other manufacturer has such chips.

In addition, the novelty has high performance – access time does not exceed 2.3 ns in Pipeline mode and 5.5 ns – in Flow Through mode. Available in 18- and 36-bit bus versions for easy integration with common network processors. As for the supply voltage – there is also a choice here: 1.8 / 2.5 V or 2.5 / 3.3 V. The exterior design is a 119-pin BGA package with dimensions of 14 x 22 mm.

Trial samples of the new memory are currently available.
