Server monitoring: Alchemy Eye v.eight.eight

A new version of the program for network administrators has been released – Alchemy Eye, which monitors the availability of servers, network devices, computers and other components in global or local networks. With a specified period of time, Alchemy Eye makes a request to the server and, if it does not respond, sends a notification to you, and also writes all the information to log files. The utility is easy to use, it can work with almost all types of servers.

The program has the ability to scan the corporate network. This function scans the local network of the enterprise for servers, routers, network printers and other network devices connected to it. At the end of the scan, the program provides the network administrator with a list of found devices and the services they support, for example, HTTP or FTP. After the local network administrator adds the found devices to the program, Alchemy Eye starts continuous monitoring of the added devices; this allows you to configure the program to monitor a large corporate network in just a few minutes.

Devices found during network scanning can also be added to the Network Map window, which contains a graphical representation of the logical diagram of the enterprise LAN. This map contains all network devices, computers, servers, etc.P., and for each device shows its current state, determined based on monitoring of the services supported by the device. The network administrator can even superimpose the network map on the floor plan and print the result on paper.

In version 8.8 added a new type of notification by launching an http link, added support for monitoring a new file type. Details will soon be available on this page.
