Some iPhones fail with touchscreens

Some iPhone owners have reported issues with their touch-sensitive device. According to them, the most common “dead zone” that does not respond to touch is a horizontal strip about one centimeter wide when the phone is oriented portrait.

According to iPhone owners, the problem is not solved either by completely resetting the phone or installing an internal software update released a few days ago.

AppleInsider’s website reports that Apple technical support is quick to fix issues and provide phone owners for temporary use for repairs.

In the first weeks of sales, Apple sold a very large number of iPhones, measured in hundreds of thousands of units. Plus, Apple’s new phone has garnered more media attention than any of its predecessors. All of this made any reports of certain faults in some batches and even units of the iPhone quite resonant. However, if you compare the number of phones sold and reported problems, you can see that the iPhone failure rate is quite low, and hardly exceeds that of iPods.
