Packard Bell EasyNote XS: laptop and UMPC hybrid
At IFA 2021, Packard Bell unveils the EasyNote XS, which sits in the middle between Ultra Mobile PCs (UMPCs) and Subnotebooks.
The novelty is based on the VIA C7-M low-voltage processor. Display – 7 ” typical UMPC. From laptops, the device took a QWERTY keyboard, which ultra mobile PCs often lack, or it is located on both sides of the display.
EasyNote XS weighs only 950 grams, but its thickness is up to 30 mm, which is surpassed by many notebook models with 11- and even 13-inch displays.

Thanks to the use of the VIA platform, this solution has a good autonomy – up to 3 hours with the Wi-Fi module turned on.
The Packard Bell EasyNote XS should go on sale before the end of the year. Price has not yet been announced.
